Η Ελλάδα θέσπισε, βάσει του άρθρου 49 του απαλλακτικού Κανονισμού 2022/2473, διάφορα καθεστώτα αποζημίωσης επιχειρήσεων που δραστηριοποιούνται στην αλιεία και την υδατοκαλλιέργεια, λόγω θεομηνιών
The State Aid Unit (MoKE) operates at the Centre of International and European Economic Law (CIEEL) since 2002 and is financed by the Public Investment Programme and the Partnership Pact for Regional Development (ESPA) 2000-2006, 2007-2013, 2014-2020, and currently by the Programme “Technical Assistance and Beneficiary Support 2021-2027”. MoKE is the first public sector body established exclusively in the highly susceptible field of state aid. The EU system on state aid – a crucial area of the EU competition policy – is based on the principle of incompatibility and on the Commission’s control established to ensure that only aid complying with EU law is permitted.
According to subsection B.7. of Law No. 4152/2013 and Article 26 of Law No. 5000/2022, the CIEEL State Aid Unit (MoKE) acts as legal expert counselling the Central State Aid Unit (KeMKE), the Special Service for State Aid (EYKE) and all public bodies granting state aid (Ministries, Managing Authorities, etc.), aiming to provide them with specialized and prompt support for drafting, monitoring and supervising effectively state aids granted by Greek competent bodies in order to ensure that they are in conformity with EU rules, to the effect of being approved by the European Commission.
